Brittani Mulholland, Esq. is a first year associate at Lowney Law. To date, her focus has been providing competent and effective legal representation to clients in matters related to both criminal defense and personal injury.
Brittani attained her Juris Doctorate, cum laude in 2017 and was a member of the Honors Program at Roger Williams University School of Law (“RWU”). During her time at RWU, she focused on trial advocacy, with her primary focus in criminal defense. She was authorized by the Rhode Island Supreme Court to work as a Rule 9 Student Attorney in RWU’s Criminal Defense Clinic, representing various clients at the Rhode Island District Court. In addition, she held an externship at the Federal Defenders Office for the District of Rhode Island, authorized by the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island to appear as Law Student Counsel and work alongside Federal Public Defenders in the representation of clients accused of crimes in Federal Court.
At RWU, Brittani was President of the Women’s Law Society for two years, with her main focus on raising awareness of issues facing women in the legal field. To support her interests in public interest laws and organizations, she participated in various activities including but not limited to coordination of both RWU’s Alternative Spring Break Program and the annual “Champions for Justice” fundraiser.
Before attending RWU, Brittani worked at a civil litigation firm in North Hero, Vermont following her graduation from the University of Vermont (“UVM”) in 2013. At UVM, Brittani pursued a double major in Political Science and History. Originally from Vermont, Brittani spent much of her youth hiking and enjoying various recreational activities in the Green Mountain State. Currently, Brittani resides in Rhode Island and spends her free time with family and friends, and volunteering at RWU.
Brittani is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in the State of Rhode Island. She is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Rhode Island Bar Association.
