Jennifer M. Burns, Esq. is a trial attorney who has worked for Lowney Law, LLC for almost a decade, beginning as a law clerk in the summer of 2002. Since passing the bar exam, she has been an associate at the law firm, focusing her time on personal injury, bankruptcy, and juvenile criminal defense cases. Attorney Burns has represented clients in hundreds of court hearings. She has worked tirelessly to make sure her personal injury clients receive the compensation they deserve. Attorney Burns has represented most of the law firm’s bankruptcy clients, obtaining successful discharges for all of her clients to date. She has zealously defended hundreds of juvenile delinquency cases.
Attorney Burns is a native of Raynham and a 1998 graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. Attorney Burns earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston University where she double-majored in political science and philosophy. She graduated in May of 2002 with honors. In the fall of 2002, Attorney Burns attended New England School of Law on a full merit scholarship. During her time there she was named to the Dean’s List and earned two CALI excellence for the future awards. Attorney Burns graduated from law school in May of 2005 and passed the July 2005 bar exam.
Attorney Burns is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She is a member of Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys; Boston Bar Association; American Bar Association; American Association for Justice; and the Massachusetts Creditors Bar Association.
